1. Who runs this site
CS Idea Labs LLC operates slithy.io and the project infrastructure. It publishes official Slithy releases and handles support at support@slithy.io.
2. What the website may collect
When your browser or app requests a page or file from slithy.io, the server may record the request in a log. This includes images, software downloads, update information and data feeds. A log entry can contain your IP address, browser or app details, the requested file, the referring page, and the date and time.
Server logs help investigate failed downloads and update checks, server faults, attacks and abuse. They are not used to target advertising.
Server logs also provide download totals and estimates of site visits. Visit estimates use IP addresses. People sharing a connection may be counted together, and repeat visits may affect the totals.
3. Support and bug reports
The bug report form prepares a message in your email app. The page does not upload your report to the website. If you send that message to support@slithy.io, CS Idea Labs LLC receives your email address and the information you include.
Do not send recovery words, wallet passwords, private keys, seed files or wallet files. Slithy support should never ask you for them.
4. Wallets, mining, and updates
Your wallet files and keys are stored on your computer. The Windows app contacts slithy.io to check for updates and download signed packages. The server can log those requests.
The app may connect to official Slithy test nodes to download blocks and take part in the network. Mining runs on your computer. Public nodes see the network traffic used to share blocks and transactions; they should not receive your wallet password, recovery words or private keys.
5. Public blockchain data
Slithy has a public chain. Anyone can inspect its addresses and transactions, including mining rewards and treasury payments. The current test chain will reset before launch. Data you put on the live chain should be treated as public.
An address does not contain your legal name. People may still connect an address to you if you post or reuse it publicly, send it to support, or associate it with an account on another service.
6. Cookies, analytics, and outside services
Slithy.io does not currently use advertising trackers or analytics scripts, and it does not set advertising cookies.
The site uses Google Fonts, so your browser may contact Google for font files. Links to Discord and GitHub take you to those services, which have their own terms and privacy policies.
The site does not track your behavior across other websites. Browser Do Not Track signals therefore do not change its current behavior.
7. Sharing and retention
CS Idea Labs LLC may share information with providers that host the site, deliver email, protect the server or help run the project. It may also share information when required by law or needed to protect users and project services.
Server logs are retained for operations and security, then removed through normal log rotation. Support messages may be retained to answer your question, track the reported bug or maintain a project record.
8. Children
Children's literacy is the project's mission. The website and wallet software are not directed to children under 13. Please do not include a child's personal information in a support message or bug report.
9. Privacy questions
You can ask about this policy at support@slithy.io. A material policy change should be published here with a new effective date.
