What it can fund
The treasury is for children's books and reading programs. Related materials and costs must directly support that literacy work.
Literacy treasury
Ten percent of the new coins in each block go to the literacy treasury. Check the balance here and follow its transactions on the chain. Spending reports are planned for the live fund.
Test network
The figures here come from the test treasury. These coins are for testing and will reset before launch.
The address prepared for the live network is slithy1qpye0hj9eqsssjpj08j2y6adeq57wfyu7a9kum2. That network has not started yet.
This website displays the records. It does not hold the keys needed to spend treasury funds.
The treasury is for children's books and reading programs. Related materials and costs must directly support that literacy work.
At launch, CS Idea Labs LLC will control one encrypted offline treasury wallet. Its spending key will stay off this website and the public nodes.
Each payment should have a public record showing the amount and transaction ID. The record should name the recipient and explain the literacy work funded, with supporting documents when available.
I want people taking part in Slithy to have a vote on treasury spending. Voting is planned for later, once the network has regular activity. Proposals must support children's literacy.
Voting is not available yet. Before a vote can be binding, published rules must define who can vote and set turnout and approval thresholds. The rules must cover conflicts of interest and allow time to review proposals.
The people responsible for the treasury wallet would make payments for approved proposals. The voting rules must explain how those payments are signed.
